A World Wide Epidemic AIDS is an international problem; over the years, both private donations and government grants have been allocated to help study and try to solve the mystery of AIDS. For thirty years, AIDS has been killing men, women and children. It is an indiscriminate Grim Reaper. Since the recognition of AIDS, many people have donated their time and money to help in the fight against AIDS. When I first moved to Atlanta, it was after a trip there for Jimmy Lovell to open the Gay center and to do poetry readings to a group of ardent activist gay men and women looking and finding their place in Atlanta society. Later the volunteering was for Meals on Wheels for AIDS patients and shows that targeted either sick friends or specific AIDS services that were under-funded. The Tools AidsBeGone.org will accept orders for the CD of contributed tracks. Jude Rawlins is the executive producer of AIDS BEGONE 1 & 2 and has arranged to provide CDs of the album as well as Cyber downloads. Unlike many musical collections, this is not divided into genres or categories. I love all music and the chronological order of the songs is significant to me as folks climbed on board to help us move this mission forward. There will be more than one album! Already, there is enough material for two albums and it is all wonderful! Different, bizarre, eclectic and magnificent. This is an international effort of which I am proud to be a part!
